Our Steve H Cycles for Prostate Cancer Charity

On the 23rd June, supported by Explorer Travel,  I will be cycling the first stage of this years Tour de France just one week before the Pro’s start the Tour.  The route is a long 200km stage along the western coast of France.
This charity ride is in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and I have just surpassed my target of raising £1000. Prostate Cancer is the 3rd biggest Cancer killer in the UK and one man will die from the disease every 45 minutes.  Awareness is key as caught early, successful treatment rates are high.  Added to that the test is very simple and quick. In many cases a blood test can now be carried out.
Male, over 50, never been checked?  If I can just get some people to go and have the test then my ride has been worthwhile.

Hi Steve,
Well done to you!
I am currently in Remission from Prostate Cancer having had an operation in 2015 and 37 Radiotherapy treatments last year. A really expensive treatment plan and that is just for one person!

Have declared an interest in joining Explorer Travel on several occasions but until now just wasn’t mentally or physically fit enough and withdrew at the last moment.
The effects of Radiotherapy and Hormone Therapy treatment are now abating and will certainly be looking to join a discovery day in the very near future!

Once again, hats off to you!

Best regards
Patrick Earl
