Why Explorer Travel?
After looking at various travel home working companies I decided I really wanted to work with Explorer Travel. The main reasons for this were that they seemed a small company with fantastic support and part of Hays Travel, a large consortium.
I had an interview and soon after was doing my training course at their head office with the Operations Manager. Once I had passed my training course I was very excited and knew I had made the best decision.
Explorer Travel has turned out for me to be the best thing to happen to me. The support staff are amazing and they do everything they can to help you maximise your potential. The earning potential is huge as long as you are willing to put in the hard work to reap the benefits. Explorer Travel has helped make my career dreams come true. Home working is the best…
Reality of working for Explorer Travel;
The reality of working with Explorer Travel is the constant support that you receive on a day to day basis.
Explorer Travel is a small travel company, which is fantastic as you are not just another number or a name… It is very personal and your hard work and efforts are noticed. This is something that doesn’t happen on the high street.
The earning potential is amazing and the flexibility of choosing your own hours is perfect for any busy or family person. The systems that I was provided are the best in the business and the most up to date, if you don’t know the answer to something there is somewhere you can go to find it. There are contact training modules for you to do to keep your knowledge as high and up to date as you want to.
Success!!
I have just completed my first year working with Explorer Travel. It simply was the best decision I have ever made! I am now earning more than I ever have in my career.
In my first year I have exceeded the sales target I used to achieve working on the high street. I am now able to live the life I have always wanted to both financially and having more time to do the things I love doing. I have more and more websites being built for me to maximise my sales figures even more. I have amazing clients who are loyal to me and recommend me to their family and friends. I get to speak to new and interesting people everyday and build up some fantastic new relationships.
I can’t believe how well I have done in my first year working for Explorer Travel.
The years now can only get better and I am looking forward to achieving my personal target of £1 million sales next year.

I joined Explorer Travel in 2006 after a career working with large corporations. Fed up with corporate life (politics and back stabbing) I started to look for a way out.
I have always loved Italy and travel there frequently so I decided to try to make a living out of my passion for the country.
The obvious solution was to buy a travel franchise and after much laboured investigation I chose to join Explorer Travel because they offered the flexibility I wanted.
I bought the franchise at Christmas, but launched the website at Easter,
“It took about nine months to get a return on my investment, but the timing wasn’t great, as by launching at Easter I had missed out on the summer period for that year.”
From the outset I started getting enquiries for the Verona Opera, and my business blossomed into a niche travel company offering opera holidays to Italy, with the website www.passionateaboutopera.co.uk.
When buying a franchise you have to be careful because the franchisor’s and the franchisee’s aims can be quite different. They want to sell a franchise, but you want to sell holidays.
You need to make sure they will manage you through the process. Some franchise companies talk big numbers, but you need to be very clear about what you are likely to earn.
You also need to understand if you are going to be selling only package holidays, which there is not a lot of money in, as well as understanding the suppliers you will be working with. The big difference with Explorer is that they focus on selling specialised products with high margins. This is a strategy which has worked very well for me.

I am a married mum with two teenage children. I joined Explorer Travel in February 2010. I have previous travel experience but have also worked in banking and finance.
I realised that my true passion was the travel industry so I researched the options of working in travel but in a way that suited me best. Explorer Travel was the company that for me, stood out from the rest. Steve Wood from Explorer Travel answered all my questions concisely and I decided this was the company for me.
I am delighted to say that Explorer Travel has exceeded my expectations. Advantages of being part of Explorer include fully protected travel for my clients, great support from Head Office (allowing me to concentrate on making sales), access to numerous suppliers with good commission rates, discounted personal travel and a very generous commission split. The big benefits for me are flexible working hours and the earning potential.
The travel industry has changed dramatically since my early days in the agency but it is still an interesting and exciting business to be part of. It has to be one of the easiest products to promote because who doesn’t like talking about their holidays?!
